TRAINING PROGRAM
Screenings and prevention (2 days Carlos DEL BARRIO)
This intervention will allow you to understand and apply the screenings used with Atletico de Madrid professional soccer players. Learn how to deduce risk profiles in order to apply individualized prevention protocols and discover and integrate the processes and programs used within the club.
Workload analysis, management and quantification (2 days)- Tim GABBETT)
This workshop will provide the latest scientific evidence on training load control and the safe progression (and regression) of training loads to achieve strong and resilient athletes.
By the end of the course, participants will have an advanced understanding of the principles of load management, training program design and preparation for the most demanding parts of competition, both in preparation, injury prevention and return to competition in the Return To Play process. Participants will also gain an advanced understanding of the factors that contribute to load tolerance in athletes.
Field load quantification and feedback of analyses in training and RTP processes - use of GPS (2 days)- Matt TABERNER)
During this talk, Matt TABERNER will share with you his Premier League experience in the application of load quantification methodology using GPS and the integration of control-continuum chaos in Return To Play. He will share with you the protocols used in Aston Villa and Everton soccer clubs.
Contribution of sport science to injury prevention and the return to competition of the injured athlete (1 day)- Yann LEMEUR)
The objective of this day is to assimilate knowledge and integrate work tools to prevent injuries through better planning, to analyze the locomotor and mechanical constraints associated with different reathletization exercises and to use training follow-up tools to optimize the transition between reathletization, the return to the group and the resumption of competition.
11LEADER concept prevention methodology and analysis of at-risk gestures (1 day Germain SANIEL and Grégory VISERY)
This workshop will not only place biomechanical analysis in the preventive approach, but will also discern the links between movement deficits and the risk of injury in sport. Through the 11LEADER methodology, you will be able to understand the principles of a biomechanical analysis that integrates the latest science and is affordable from a technical point of view. You will carry out an efficient cross-cutting screening for several pathological risks using common observables. The trainers will share with you their experiences in professional soccer, swimming and high level tennis.
Decelerations, accelerations and changes of direction COD (1 day Arnaud BRUCHARD and Team 11LEADER)
Non-contact pathologies are very frequent during COD. Whether it is a question of performance, prevention or Return To Play, the modern approach and the new knowledge of gesture analysis and in particular of accelerations, decelerations and CODs direct us towards an indispensable management of these actions. After analyzing the components, the risk factors caused according to the gestural organizations, you will learn how to work and correct your actions in the different frameworks of prevention, performance and Return To Play.
Return To Play Methodology (1 day Arnaud BRUCHARD and Team 11LEADER)
This workshop will allow you to integrate the 11LEADER methodology of Return To Play into your practice, whether it is in an office, an institution or a club. After a synthesis of the scientific publications and factual evidence, you will work on the construction process of an individualized reathletization, justifying your steps and tests. You will be able to perfect yourself in the management of the return to competition in a controlled manner, by integrating the algorithm that will be proposed to you by integrating biopsychosocial influences.
Nutritional strategies for the injured athlete (1 day Yann Le Meur)
The main themes developed will be :
- Fight against the loss and gain of muscular mass in the injured sportsman.
- Specific nutritional supplementation for the injured athlete.
Muscle injuries (2 days Nicol VAN DYCK)
- From basic concepts to the latest evidence with a special focus on rehabilitation and Return To Play of the hamstring muscles.
- This 2-day course will cover risk factors and screening, diagnosis and rehabilitation and return to sport decision making. It will consist of a mix of learning styles and will include lectures, interactive group sessions, individual problem solving, practical demonstrations and clinical workshops.
The Learning Objectives are to
Understand basic concepts related to muscle injuries, including injury mechanism, healing, risk factors and rehabilitation.
Understand the healing process of muscle injuries and their effects on our treatment.
Be able to plan and design a specific rehabilitation program.
Integrate the latest research on muscle injuries into clinical practice.
Perform and interpret an initial and daily assessment of hamstring injuries.
Be able to plan and design a specific rehabilitation program that includes optimal loading for hamstring injuries.
Integrate the latest research on hamstring injuries into clinical practice.
Consolidate information related to the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of hamstring injuries.
Return to Play and knee pathologies (ACL example) (1 day Germain SANIEL and Team 11LEADER)
This workshop will allow you to understand the difficulties associated with RTP in the context of
Knee pathologies in sport, in particular ACL. You will integrate the following tests into your practice
specific RTPs, validated by evidence. Germain SANIEL and the Team11LEADER will share
with you the programs developed for elite athletes. The integration of the
BPS and neurocognitive influences are addressed in the context of ACL rehabilitation.
Return to Play and other sport pathologies(1 day Team 11LEADER)
During this intervention, in the form of practical application of the methodology and exercises, you will integrate adaptations to different sports pathologies musculo-tendinous, ankle, hip, pubalgia, trunk and bone injuries.
Speed Agility Quickness (2 days Alan PEARSON)
Alan PEARSON will introduce you to the specific continuum of SAQ Sports. You will learn about the transfer of fitness skills to performance development. Modern sport requires athletes to be prepared for explosive acceleration, responsiveness and high intensity movements. The SAQ program is taught worldwide.
Return to Play et pathologies sportives (2 jours Ruben PONS)
This intervention will focus on updating knowledge of sports pathologies, and the use of innovative physiotherapy techniques accompanying the Return To Play process. Ruben PONS will share with you the protocols used within the Liverpool soccer club.
Prevention et Return to Play en rugby (2 jours, team du Racing 92 Rugby)
